Taking Edmonton Design Week to the Streets
The displays were designed to showcase artwork outdoors while keeping each piece protected, visible, and secure. Heavy-duty acrylic enclosures shielded the work from changing weather conditions, while custom interior shelves were built to hold sandbags and add stability to each plinth. The result was a durable, reusable display system that turned public spaces into temporary galleries, helping Edmonton Design Week connect artists, design, and the wider community throughout the city.
