The centrepiece of the project is a custom feature wall inspired by Edmonton’s connection to the North Saskatchewan River. The river’s path was carefully cut into the wall, creating a flowing graphic element that brings movement, depth, and a strong sense of place into the office. Throughout the space, we incorporated additional custom details designed to strengthen the Explore Edmonton brand and improve the visitor experience. White oak office wayfinding provides a warm, refined navigation system, while frosted vinyl featuring the company’s signature pattern adds privacy without closing off the space. A second feature wall uses translucent vinyl layered over a fabric-covered surface to create texture and visual depth. Guests are welcomed as soon as they step off the elevator by an oversized “This Is Edmonton” sign, establishing a bold first impression and setting the tone for the entire office. From design and material selection to fabrication and final installation, the Onetwosix team managed each element of the project. Every feature was carefully positioned, fitted, and installed to ensure the finished space felt cohesive, intentional, and distinctly Edmonton.
